The next Bowbrook, Copthorne and Radbrook Local Joint Committee (LJC) in Shrewsbury will receive updates on several crucial projects for the area.

Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, which will be held at the Grapes Inn, Welshpool Road on Thursday 6 March 2014 at 7pm.

Councillor Peter Nutting, Chairman of the LJC, explained:

“We have a range of exciting projects in the Bowbrook, Copthorne and Radbrook area that will have a big impact on our communities for generations to come; as such we need local people to come and hear about them and to have their say.

“These projects include the Shrewsbury West Sustainable Urban Extension, and sports and recreation facilities in the area.  We will also have an information item on a consultation that has taken place around parking at and around the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.  We urge local residents to come along to find out more.

“We will also discuss the future of LJCs and their emerging role in the commissioning of local services.”
