The next meeting of the Shifnal and Sheriffhales Local Joint Committee (LJC) is on Tuesday 4 March 2014 at Shifnal Village Hall, Aston Street, Shifnal TF11 8DW starting at 7pm.

Four local organisations, who were recipients of previous grant funding, will report back on how this funding has benefited their organisations.  There will also be updates from the local policing team, who will be on hand to discuss issues of local concern.

Also on the agenda will be the consideration of 14 new grant applications for funding received for this meeting.

Councillor Stuart West, Chair of the LJC, said:

“This is your opportunity to speak to your local councillors direct about the issues that concern you.  Why not come along and take part if you have issues that you want to raise?

“It’s an important community meeting and everyone’s invited to come along and join in with discussions, and we will try to answer as many questions as we can on the night.  This meeting is being held at the Village Hall in Shifnal this time – so put the date in your diary and come along and have your say.”
