Chance to find out what’s happening in Monkmoor, Abbey and Underdale

The next meeting of the Eastern Shrewsbury Local Joint Committee (LJC) will be the place to see the premiere of ‘Future Views’, a DVD made by young people about their area.

Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, which will be held from 6.30pm on Tuesday 4 March 2014 at Belvidere School, and which has a focus on young people.

Councillor Miles Kenny, Chairman of the LJC, said:

“This promises to be a super evening based on a young person’s theme.  Young people from the New Youth Lodge in Upton Lane have put together a DVD about the area from their perspective.  It’s a great contribution, and gives us older ones a one-off chance to meet up to discuss  our neighbourhood.

“We will also be talking about the future of LJCs as they evolve during these tougher financial times.”
