A442 north of Bridgnorth: closure during Monday 17 February

On Monday 17 February 2014 the A442 north of Bridgnorth, between Bandon Arms Island, Bridgnorth and Sutton Maddock Island, will be closed to through traffic to allow Apley Estates to carry out some essential maintenance works at Fort Pendlestone.

The closure will begin at around 9.15am and will continue until the work is completed; it is hoped that the work will be finished before peak time travel begins that evening. 

A fully-signed diversion will be in place directing people down the A454 to Rudge Heath, then onto the B4176 to Sutton Maddock, and vice versa. 

Information boards are to be placed on site in advance of Monday 17 February.
