The following planning decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s South planning committee at its meeting on Tuesday 3 December 2013 in Shrewsbury.

Land at Kerry Green, Bishops Castle, Shropshire (12/02006/FUL)

Erection of three dwellings and formation of vehicular accesses.

Decision:   That, contrary to the officer’s recommendation, planning permission be refused for the following reasons:

It is considered that the scale, massing and design of the proposed development would be out of keeping with the surrounding area, would be overdevelopment of a restricted site in respect of plot three, and would have overbearing impacts on adjacent residential properties, detracting from their residential amenity.

Land at Stableford Road, Ackleton, Shropshire, WV6 7JN (13/03198/FUL)

Change of use from agricultural to social/recreation for dog exercise and training for a temporary period of 18 months (amended description).

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation, subject to the use of the site for dog training and exercise activities being restricted to between the hours of 9am to 1pm on Sundays.

Land off Park Lane, Woofferton (13/04014/MAW)

500kW Anaerobic Digester (AD) Plant and Associated Infrastructure on land off Park Lane.
