Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion campaign, celebrated its 20th anniversary with activities in Shropshire led by Shropshire Council, the Shropshire FA, Shrewsbury Town FC, and local partnership Shrewsbury Action Against Racism.

The Shropshire FA and Shrewsbury Town FC teamed up to offer three people the opportunity to win a first prize of two tickets to the England v Germany friendly at Wembley on Tuesday 19 November 2013; two tickets to the England U21 v San Marino U21 match at Greenhous Meadow on Tuesday 19 November; and two tickets to a future Shrewsbury Town home league match.

The three lucky winners were: Claire Jones (first prize, pictured), Soni Gerwal and Freya Matthews.

Gwilym Butler, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member, said:

“We are proud to be supporting the Kick It Out message of equality and fairness across Shropshire, and congratulate the winners on the fantastic prizes they won.”
