The Craven Arms and Rural Local Joint Committee (LJC) has an interesting meeting planned for Wednesday 20 November 2013 at Stanton Lacy Village Hall, starting at 7pm.

Representatives from Shropshire Council and its partners will be in attendance to give an update on rural transport, the Connecting Shropshire broadband project, and an initiative in Church Stretton and Craven Arms to aid people to get back into work.

Councillor David Evans, chairman of the committee, said:

“Transport, broadband and employment are common areas for concern in our communities, and this is your opportunity to come along, hear the current situation and contribute to the discussion.”

The meeting will also include an update from the Church Stretton local policing team regarding local crime and safety, and news and events from the parishes that form the LJC.

The committee will also consider funding applications that have been received since the last meeting.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to take part in the discussions.
