Awareness-raising around distraction burglaries and rogue traders is on the agenda at this month’s Bayston Hill Local Joint Committee (LJC) meeting.

The meeting is on Thursday 24 October 2013 at 7pm at Bayston Hill Methodist Church Hall, Lansdowne Road, SY3 0HZ.

Local residents are encouraged to come along and find out more.

Also on this meeting’s agenda will be updates on the former Oaklands school site, other local projects and funding information.

There will be time for people to ask questions and raise points about Shropshire Council and issues that are important to them and their community.  The police will also be on hand for their regular update.

Shropshire Councillor Ted Clarke, Chair of the LJC, said:

“I encourage local residents to come along to the meeting as it offers a great opportunity to find out and share information on matters that are important to Bayston Hill.”
