North planning committee decisions – 17 September 2013

The following planning decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s North planning committee at its meeting on Tuesday 17 September 2013 in Wem.

Land South Of The Quaikin English Frankton – 13/00528/FUL

Application for a temporary essential workers dwelling.

Decision: That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Kenwick Lodge Cockshutt – 13/01989/FUL

Installation of a single 225kW generator wind turbine (46m high to tip) with control box and all associated works.

Decision: That this item be deferred until a future meeting of this committee, to enable the applicant and officer to provide a more detailed assessment of the cumulative impact, having due regard to the new guidance issued in July 2013 “Planning practice guidance for renewable and low carbon energy”.

Cherry Tree Farm Cherry Tree Lane Woore – 13/02532/FUL

Installation of 10kW wind turbine with a hub height of 17.9 metres.

Decision: That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation.
