South planning committee – decisions 13 August 2013

The following planning decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s South planning committee at its meeting on Tuesday 13 August 2013 in Bridgnorth.

Proposed Dwelling adjacent Little Gables, Spout Lane, Broseley, Shropshire (13/01172/FUL)

Erection of a dwelling.

Decision: That planning permission be refused in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Land adjacent Rhea Hall Estate, Highley, Bridgnorth, Shropshire (13/01413/FUL)

Mixed residential development of ten dwellings (following demolition of all buildings on site); provision of estate roads and communal garden area; erection of boundary fencing/wall; tree works.

Decision: That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation as per the conditions set out in Appendix 1 to the report, and the additional conditions to secure the development as affordable housing as detailed in the update sheet. 

Land between Severn Brow and Fairfield, Oldbury, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV16 5EE (13/01421/FUL)

Erection of detached six bedroom dwelling with detached 4 bay garage and associated driveway.

Decision: That planning permission be refused in accordance with refusal reasons 1 and 2 as set out in the report. 

Proposed Dwelling West of Walfords Bridge, Neen Savage, Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire (13/01547/FUL)

Erection of a dwelling and detached garage with formation of new access.

Decision: That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation, subject to a legal agreement to secure demolition of existing dwelling and surrender of residential use of current site.

Three Gables, Grange Park, Albrighton, Wolverhampton, WV7 3EN (13/01681/FUL)

Erection of two storey side extension following demolition of existing, to be used as ancillary accommodation to main dwelling.

Decision: That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Former Wye Valley Unit, Orleton Road, Ludlow Business Park, Ludlow, SY8 1XF (13/02324/COU)

Change of Use from B1 (Offices) to B8 (Storage and Distribution).

Decision: That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation.
