Enjoy travelling in the old fashioned way in a trap pulled along by Paddy, a 6-year-old gypsy cob, at Cremorne Gardens, Ellesmere this summer.

The fun rides will take place throughout the summer holidays at the weekends, weather permitting.  The next rides will be on Saturday 3 August 2013 and Sunday 4 August 2013, starting from 10am until 5pm, and will continue every weekend until Saturday 31 August.

Organised by local Chris Charlton and supported by Shropshire Council’s outdoor recreation team, the tours are set within the safely traffic-free confines of Cremorne Gardens and along The Mere promenade, where you’ll get to enjoy the wonderful sites of the gardens and mere.

Rides cost £3 per person and £5 for the longer ride along The Mere.  Maximum five people per ride.

Feel free to bring along an apple or carrot to feed Paddy on his break.
