Funding available for groups in Much Wenlock and Shipton areas

Community groups from the Much Wenlock area are invited to bid for funds to support their activities through the Much Wenlock and Shipton Local Joint Committee (LJC).

The deadline for applications is 5 June 2013, and applications will be considered at the next meeting which will be on Wednesday 17 July 2013 at 7pm at Shipton Village Hall.

There is approximately £10,000 available and groups are encouraged to contact Kerry Rogers. community action officer, for further information.

“This is an ideal opportunity for local community groups to obtain some money for a project to benefit their communities.  The process for applying for funding is very straightforward, and help and guidance is available along the way.”
