Christmas Carol guided tours

Related topics: Leisure, culture and heritage

The 1984 film of A Christmas Carol was filmed on location in Shrewsbury 28 years ago.  For anyone who has enjoyed this version of this classic film, there will be a Christmas Carol guided tour in December 2012.

The tours will take place on Saturday 15 December 2012, and there will be two tours on that day.  One in the morning at 11am, and a second one in the afternoon at 2pm.  The guided tour will explore the areas of Shrewsbury where filming took place.  The tours will last an hour and a half and depart from the Shrewsbury Visitor Information Centre at Rowley’s House.  They will be £4 for adults and £2.50 for children (16 and under).

These tours were very popular last year, and so advance booking is essential.  For tickets please visit or contact Shrewsbury Visitor Information Centre, Rowley’s House, tel 01743 258888 to book.  The office is open Mondays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm.
