The next meeting of the Bishop’s Castle, Chirbury, Worthen and Clun Local Joint Committee (LJC) takes place on Thursday 4 October starting at 7pm at Bettws-Y-Crwyn Parish Hall.

The focus of the meeting will be on the measures Shropshire Council takes to keep the streets and pavements of Shropshire tidy.  Kate Adams from Shropshire Council’s street scene team will be the guest speaker and talking about the issues her team faces whilst keeping the streets and pavements of south Shropshire clean and tidy.  She will also speak about the support available to communities who want to undertake their own environmental improvement schemes.

The meeting will also review the latest requests for grant support from the LJC; have a question and answer session with local councillors; and hear an update on news from the parishes in the area.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and join in the discussions.
