Applications going to central planning committee on 28 June 2012

The following planning applications will be considered by Shropshire Council’s central planning committee at its meeting at Shirehall, Shrewsbury on Thursday 28 June 2012, starting at 2pm.

A5064 London Road Enhancement Scheme
Shropshire Council has developed a highway enhancement scheme for London Road, Shrewsbury, incorporating carriageway and footway resurfacing work and improvements for pedestrians and cyclists. The scheme concerns the section of London Road from the Column Roundabout to Shrewsbury College.

Application to register land known as Church Bridge Field, Dorrington as a Village Green
Following a public inquiry the inspector’s report has now been received. The report to committee highlights the inspector’s findings and recommends that that the inspector’s recommendations are accepted and that the land is registered as a village green.
