The event will comprise of workshops to look at identifying Shropshire’s key health issues and an opportunity to agree with organisations to how the new Health and Well-being Stakeholder Alliance will operate.

Councillor Ann Hartley, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for health and well-being, said:

“We want to improve the health and well-being of Shropshire residents and reduce inequalities in health.  It is essential that we start from the grass roots and get a detailed picture of our residents’ health, and working with our partners will be crucial to achieving this.

“The annual Shropshire Partnership event and the launch of the Health and Well-being Stakeholder Alliance shows a commitment to work together to deliver more joined-up and efficient services that achieve the best possible outcomes for our communities.

“The new Health and Well-being Stakeholder Alliance will make an important contribution to guiding the provision of health, social care and well-being services in the county.”

Over one hundred organisations will be attending the event, for which there a few last remaining places.  Booking is essential, however, so if you would like to join us at this important event please contact the Shropshire Partnership office on 01743 252269 or 01743 252295.
