Spooky and ghostly guided walks

For a spooky night out why not come on one of the Shrewsbury Ghost Walks?

Shrewsbury is one of the most haunted towns in England, and a guided ghost walk is the ideal way to learn more about them.

Did you know about the man buried alive in St. Julian’s churchyard?  Learn about the monks seen around Old St Chads, and hear about the steeplejack seen climbing the spire of St. Alkmund’s.

Although our guides cannot guarantee any sightings, you will be intrigued by these stories and many more.

The tours take place during October 2011 and November 2011.  They depart every Thursday evening at 7pm on 6, 13, 20, 27 October and Halloween Monday 31 October, and on Thursday 3, 10, 17, & 24 November.  Tours start from The Square.

Tickets are £4.00 for adults and £2.50 for children (16 and under).

These tours are always very popular and it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.  The tours can be booked in person at the Shrewsbury Visitor Information Centre, Rowley’s House, Barker Street, or by telephone with a credit/debit card via 01743 281200.  The centre is open Monday to Saturday 10am – 5pm.
