Pride in Welsh language and culture will be a feature of an author evening taking place at Whitchurch Library on Thursday 29 September 2011 at 7pm.

Author Clare Dudman will be talking about her latest novel A Place of Meadows and Tall Trees.  Set in 1865, the book follows a group of Welsh emigrants’ mighty efforts to save their beloved language as they leave the green, green grass of home in search of the new Wales they have been promised thousands of miles away in Patagonia.

Admission to the event is free and all are welcome.
