Outdoor theatre date for country park, come rain or shine

Touring outdoor theatre company Rain or Shine is bringing “The Comedy of Errors” to Severn Valley Country Park near Alveley this month.

Tickets are on sale now for the performance at the Shropshire Council-run park, and the company promises the show will entertain audiences aged six and up.

Lezley Picton, Leader of Shropshire Council, said:-

“Hopefully the weather will perform for the show, but Rain or Shine is a renowned outdoor theatre company and the performance will shine.

“Severn Valley Country Park is a stunning venue, and this is an excellent opportunity to mix theatre with the great outdoors.”

Tickets for the performance on Friday 18 August 2023 at 7pm are on sale now by calling Severn Valley Country Park on 01746 781192, or on the door. They cost £16 for adults, £15 for concessions and £8 for children.

Audiences are invited to bring along low-backed seating or rugs, and a picnic.
