People asked: how do you think roundabouts in north east Shrewsbury could be improved?
What do you think about the roundabouts in the northeast of Shrewsbury, and how do you think they could be improved?
That’s just one of the questions being put to local residents and businesses as part of a public engagement exercise that has seen a number of ideas published for improving transport and travel in north east Shrewsbury.
As part of the exercise some draft proposals have been drawn up to indicate how each of the following roundabouts could be improved, to help deal with the growing volume of traffic using them and the new developments that are being built around them.
- Heathgates roundabout
- Sundorne roundabout
- Welti/Shrewsbury Club mini roundabout
- Enterprise roundabout (Battlefield Link Road)
- Battlefield roundabout
See illustrations below for more information.
People are being asked: Do you think that Shropshire Council should invest in these projects? Are the plans we’ve suggested the right way to improve them? What’s your experience of using these roundabouts? And, which of the ideas would you like to see progressed – if funding becomes available.
Views and comments about the roundabouts and a number of other proposals can be shared via the public survey found using this link until Thursday 25 November [2021].
