Severn Loop Local Joint Committee meeting

The next meeting of the Severn Loop Local Joint Committee (LJC), which covers the Quarry, Coton Hill, Porthill and Belle Vue areas of Shrewsbury, will be held on Wednesday 18 May 2011.

The agenda includes updates from councillors, police, fire and rescue services and the community action team.  There will also be a briefing on the next phase of the Connect2 Walking and Cycling Project in Shrewsbury and an update on the Shropshire Bus Strategy 2011-2016.

Councillor Anne Chebsey, chair of the LJC, said:

“Come along and listen to developments in the town and have an opportunity to raise local issues.”

Applications for funding from the Darwin Community Centre, Frankwell, and the Summer Gardens Residents Association, Belle Vue, will also be discussed.

The meeting will start at 7 pm and will take place at The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury.
