Chance to improve your basic IT skills with Oswestry Library
Feeling left behind? Want to do more online but don’t know how?
Oswestry Library, thanks to funding from the Tinder Foundation has increased the help it can offer to people wanting to improve their basic IT skills.
Debbie Marais, branch manager at Oswestry Library, said:-
“The Internet can make so many things easier and cheaper for people, whether it be staying in touch with loved ones, shopping online, paying bills online or ordering prescriptions – and we can support you to do these things and improve your general IT skills.”
Stuart West, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for leisure and culture, said:-
“I would encourage people who want help to improve their IT skills to consider booking a session at Oswestry Library.”
People can book a one to one session, which are free, with a trained volunteer to learn anything from setting up an email, using Skype, to how to shop or bank online. Please call 01691 677388 or email oswestry.library@shropshire.gov.uk.
