Decisions made by North planning committee on 26 January 2016

The following decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s North planning committee at its meeting at Shirehall, Shrewsbury on Tuesday 26 January 2016.

  • Land west of London Road, Woore (15/04397/REM) Approval of Reserved Matters (access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) pursuant to planning permission 13/02698/OUT (Plots 1 to 10).  Decision:

    That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation, subject to:

      • The conditions set out in Appendix 1
      • And the following additional condition:

     

  • No windows shall be inserted on the south facing gable elevation of plot 1.
  • Reason: To preserve the amenity and privacy of adjoining tennis court.

 

  • Valnorver, 26 Leek Street, Wem (15/04233/FUL) Erection of 2no dwellings with garages and access.  Decision:

    That consideration of the application be deferred.

     

     

  • 32 Upper Church Street, Oswestry, SY11 2AE (14/04694/FUL) Erection of nine dwellings with associated external works following demolition of existing dwelling.  Decision: 

    That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation subject to:

    • The Conditions set out in Appendix 1; and

    The applicant entering into a S106 agreement to secure an affordable housing contribution

  • Morton Ley Farm, Morton, Oswestry, SY10 8BG (15/04477/EIA) Erection of two poultry buildings and three feed bins; construction of vehicular access and hardstanding; landscaping scheme.  Decision:

    That Members delegate authority to the Head of Planning Services to grant planning permission for the proposed development subject to the conditions as set out in Appendix 1, and any modifications to these conditions if considered necessary by the Head of Planning Services.
