The next Severn Loop Local Forum is on Tuesday 19 January 2016 at 7pm at The Gateway Education and Arts Centre, Chester Street, Shrewsbury, SY1 1ND.

Agenda items include an update on the progress of the Shrewsbury Integrated Transport Package, local policing update, and information about the “Alternative Giving” scheme.

There is also an opportunity for discussion of the financial challenges ahead, asking residents their views on what can be done to help resolve some of these challenges. People’s responses will be fed back into Shropshire Council’s Big Conversation, and help inform the council’s future Financial Strategy.

Councillor Andrew Bannerman, Chairman, said:-

“The Severn Loop Forum gives an opportunity for residents of Belle Vue, Port Hill, Quarry and Coton Hill to hear updates on key topical issues, and have their say on these and any matter which concerns them. This is a critical time for Shropshire Council, which needs to make some very difficult decisions. I urge residents to come along and give their views.”

In addition there will be time reserved to raise any other issues of importance to the community. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting.
