Shrewsbury Rounders League is entering into its third year this April (2015), and is currently looking for new teams to come and join in the fun that is playing rounders

Friendly games will be held through the spring and summer at London Road Sports Centre, with some initial sessions allowing match and skills practice.

The league is set to start in May 2015 and will continue every Tuesday evening until the middle of August.  A mini tournament will then take place, based on the league positions held by each team.  It is anticipated that all sessions will start at 6.30pm.

Pre-formed rounders teams are welcome to join the 2015 season, and any interested teams are encouraged to contact the current committee via Shropshire Council’s leisure services for further information.  It is advised to contact as soon as possible if you wish to enter a team in to the league.

If individuals are interested in taking up rounders, there will be some new start up sessions which will be held at London Road Sports Centre.  Again, please contact the council for further information and to register an interest.  It may also be possible for the council to pass individual details onto current teams who may be looking for additional players.
