An evening with author Graeme Simsion at Shrewsbury Library

Leading author Graeme Simsion will be appearing at Shrewsbury Library on the evening of Wednesday 5 February 2014 at 7.30pm, in the run-up to National Libraries Day on Saturday 8 February.

Graeme Simsion is the author of the international bestseller ‘The Rosie Project’, a novel about about a man with undiagnosed Asperger’s syndrome.

Tickets are available at £3, to include refreshments, from Shrewsbury Library, on 01743 255308.

Gwilym Butler, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for leisure, libraries and culture, said:

“National Libraries Day is a culmination of a week’s worth of celebrations in Shropshire’s libraries, and throughout the country.  I am delighted Graeme Simsion is coming to Shrewsbury to talk about his novel, and encourage everyone to book a ticket.”

About the author

Graeme Simsion is a full-time writer. Previously an IT consultant and educator, he wrote his first book in 1994, and taught at four Australian universities. He is married to Anne, a professor of psychiatry who writes erotic fiction. They have two children.
