Road closures due to flooding in Bridgnorth area (current 9 January)

The following roads and footpaths in the Bridgnorth area are currently closed as a result of flooding:

• A454 – Bridgnorth to Wolverhampton Road, near Swancote. Road.
• Footpaths in Bridgnorth – Doctors Lane and Severn Meadow closed due to rising river levels.
• B4363 -Bridgnorth to Cleobury Mortimer, near Marlbrook Bridge. Surface water running from adjacent land has brought debris onto the road.

Halfway House Lane, Eardington, has been reopened for use after the flood water was cleared this morning [Thursday 9 January].
