Cross Street, Oswestry, temporarily closed

Cross Street in Oswestry has been temporarily closed after sections of guttering fell from some buildings.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service and Shropshire Council closed the road from about 2pm on Monday 1 April 2013 as a precaution, and pedestrians are being advised not to use the road.

Building surveyors are due to check the situation on Tuesday 2 April 2013 when more information will be issued.
