Funding closing date extended in Gobowen, Selattyn, St Martins and Weston Rhyn

Gobowen, Selattyn, St Martins & Weston Rhyn Local Joint Committee (LJC) will be holding their final meeting for 2012/13 on Tuesday 26 February 2013 at All Saints Church Hall in Gobowen.  The meeting will start at 7pm and look at issues affecting people in the area.

The meeting will give organisations serving the local area an opportunity to apply for grant funding to support projects. To date, a total of £11,445 has supported 19 projects, which leaves £11,948 awaiting allocation.  The closing date for applications is Friday 25 January  2013.

Councillor David Lloyd, Chairman of the LJC, said:

“Our grant funding has made a real difference to the area, and I am delighted that we can help groups facilitate pilot projects that are difficult to fund.  Our support will help groups that have projects that offer economic benefit to the area.”
