Ludlow Park and Ride Christmas special offers

Shropshire residents and visitors will be able to take the hassle out of shopping this Christmas with a number of special offers on Park and Ride in Ludlow. 

From Monday 19 November 2012 until Monday 24 December 2012, the fare for those boarding the Ludlow Park and Ride bus at the Eco Park will only be 50p return, with free all day parking. 

The 50p return offer on the Park and Ride service will also be available for those attending the Medieval Fare on Saturday 24 November 2012. 

During Tinsel Tuesdays on 4, 11 and 18 December, people will be able to park for free in the council’s car parks from 2pm until 6pm. 

Simon Jones, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member with responsibility for public transport, said:

“Our Christmas Park and Ride special offers give Ludlow area residents and visitors an opportunity to save money while avoiding long queues and full car parks, taking the hassle out of shopping this Christmas.” 

Rosanna Taylor-Smith, Martin Taylor-Smith and Tracey Huffer, Shropshire Councillors for Ludlow, said:

“We are really pleased to support Ludlow Town Council and Ludlow Chamber of Trade with the Tinsel Tuesdays, and our special Christmas Park and Ride fares.  This should encourage more people to come to Ludlow’s excellent shops for their Christmas shopping.”
