Shropshire Council launches new sponsorship opportunities
Shropshire Council has announced a new sponsorship programme, offering businesses and organisations the chance to support some of its cultural and leisure venues.
This initiative opens the door for sponsors to make a meaningful impact on community wellbeing while gaining valuable brand exposure.
Shropshire Council manages venues across the county including Theatre Severn, hosting over 600 shows per year; Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery, showcasing the county’s heritage and welcoming touring exhibitions, the Old Market Hall, a medieval building turned independent cinema and the network of libraries across the county.
Sponsors can also support Shropshire Archives, which houses thousands of historical documents, and a range of country parks and heritage sites such as Severn Valley Country Park and The Mere at Ellesmere, which provide vital green spaces for recreation and conservation.
Jeremy Blandford, Deputy Portfolio Holder for Housing and Leisure, commented:
“Our cultural and leisure venues are at the heart of Shropshire’s communities, enriching lives and supporting wellbeing. By partnering with us as a sponsor, you are not only raising your company’s profile but also making a real difference to the people and places that make our county special. We invite businesses of all sizes to join us in helping culture to change lives.”
