There will be an Easter fun day and two weeks of LEGO brick-building at The Darwin shopping centre in Shrewsbury this Easter.

The Fun Day is on Saturday 12 April, from 11am to 3pm, on the Centre’s lower level outside Poundland. There’ll be classic fairground games, skill challenges, and prizes for all ages.

Children and grown-ups alike will be able to test their skills and try to claim the top spot on the Easter leaderboard. The games will be quick and easy to play, but people are advised to be prepared for a short wait at popular stations.

Meanwhile, parents and carers looking for a fun and creative way to entertain the children can visit Darwin’s Den from Saturday 12 to Sunday 27 April (10am to 4pm) for free brick-building fun – and a chance to win £100 worth of LEGO® sets! Darwin’s Brick Play Days are free to participate and children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Kevin Lockwood, centre manager of The Darwin, said:

“This Easter we’re inviting families to join us for a day of fun, laughter, and festive competition—and look forward to finding out who will be crowned the ultimate Easter champion.

“And over the Easter holidays parents and carers can let their little ones unleash their inner master builder by creating crazy creatures, stupendous structures, and word art with our colourful bricks.”
