RKM Wools opens in The Darwin shopping centre after 45 years on Roushill

Independent store RKM Wools, which was previously located on Roushill in Shrewsbury for nearly 45 years, has opened inside The Collective on the ground floor of the town’s Darwin shopping centre.

RKM Wools is a Shrewsbury business which has been operating in the town since 1969. Juliet and Nigel run this celebrated specialist hand knitting yarn store, which has become a very important asset to the town. As well as a great selection of yarn, RKM also supply a range of haberdashery, buttons, knitting patterns and a wide array of knitting accessories.

Juliet and Nigel have chosen to relocate to The Darwin given its central location, mix of independent and national brands and the support they will have from the centre’s management team. They are excited to operate in The Collective amongst other local businesses, in a space where everyone helps one another.

Juliet and Nigel, owners of RKM Wools, said:
