What’s on this half-term
With half-term fast approaching, it’s great to know that Shropshire Council has you covered with activities for the whole family.
From theatre performances and outdoor adventures to creative workshops, there’s something for everyone.
Here’s a brief summary of activities in Shropshire over the half term break:-
Theatre performances
Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury, run by Shropshire Council, is showcasing Les Misérables, The Little Mermaid and Oliver. Meanwhile, at the Old Market Hall in Shrewsbury, you can catch Kung Fu Panda 4.

Severn Valley Country Park offers a Bird Box Building workshop on Saturday 25 May.

Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery events
Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery has a packed schedule, including a ceramic rabbit-making workshop, a Roots & Shoots kids printing workshop, and an exhibition celebrating Martin Wood, Shrewsbury town crier’s 40-year career. There’s also a free talk on Edward I and Shrewsbury, an LGBTQ+ family drop-in, and a Mighty Knights trail in the grounds of Shrewsbury Castle grounds.
