Lane closures on Hereford Road for next phase of housing development work

The next phase of work on Hereford Road, Shrewsbury for the Bellway Homes development will be carried out from Monday 16 January to Wednesday 24 April [2024].

This next phase of the programme will consist of upgrade works to the existing drainage system, and the installation of new kerb lines and crossing points.

A new signalised junction will also be installed and the road will be resurfaced, with road markings applied following completion of the construction works.

During the work lane closures will be in place on Hereford Road for safety purposes. Only one lane will be closed at a time to help reduce the disruption to the surrounding area.

Residents and businesses will be notified via a letter drop and advanced warning signs will be placed on site two weeks prior to the works starting.
