“The Big Open Weekend is back. All our leisure centres across Shropshire are offering a whole host of free and discounted sport, fun and fitness sessions for the whole community to enjoy.
“Why not visit one of our centres for a weekend of active fun?
“Our websites have a full list of what’s on offer at each centre. Some stuff you can just roll up and try, while other sessions you need to book. We look forward to seeing you for our Big Open Weekend.”
Robert Macey, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for culture and digital, said:-
“I am delighted to hear the Big Open weekend is returning. It was such a massive success last time and a large number of people signed up to continue to enjoy the fantastic range of leisure and fitness facilities that are on offer through our sites.
“Shropshire Council prioritises the health and wellbeing of residents and we are pleased to have these facilities open to all who want to use them.”
