Five more Shropshire roads to be resurfaced in October
Five more roads across Shropshire are due to be resurfaced next month (October 2023) as part of Shropshire Council’s annual resurfacing programme.
The work will be carried out by Kier, on behalf of the council.
The roads to be resurfaced, with dates, are listed below.

2 to 6 October: Maes-Y-Clawdd, Oswestry. Work to be carried out from 8am to 5pm each day. (Ref 29600216) *EDIT: this work will now be carried out at a later date*
2 to 17 October: B4579 – Shrewsbury Road, Oswestry. A mix of daytime (9.30am to 4pm) and night-time (7pm to 6am) work under a road closure. (Ref 29600324)
2 October to 3 November: A4117 – Cleobury Mortimer to Lem Hill Ref 36500719). The road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm on weekdays and 7am to 5pm on Saturdays See more information at https://orlo.uk/9kWVl
23 to 29 October: B4363 – Bridge Street, Bridgnorth. Work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am under a road closure. (Ref 4300095)
23 to 29 October: B4363 – Mill Street, Bridgnorth. Work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am under a road closure. (Ref 4300437)
In all cases, when the road is closed there will be access to businesses and properties within the closure, with a diversion for other traffic.
All planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
