Notice of election published for Worfield division

The notice of election for a by-election in Shropshire Council’s Worfield division has been published today (Wednesday 2 August 2023).

It follows the resignation of Councillor Richard Marshall last month.

If contested the by-election will be held on Thursday 7 September 2023.

Photo ID or a voter authority certificate will be needed to vote at a polling station.

Publication of Notice of Election: Wednesday 2 August

Deadline for receipt of nominations: 4pm, Thursday 10 August

Publication of the Statement of Persons Nominated: 4pm, Friday 11 August
