Bridgnorth West and Tasley by-election to be held on 6 October

The deadline for nominations for a by-election in Shropshire Council’s Bridgnorth West and Tasley division passed at 4pm on Friday, 9 September [2022]

The by-election will be contested, and will take place on Thursday 6 October [2022].

The statement of persons nominated can be found on the council website.

The by-election follows the sad death of Councillor Les Winwood in July.

Deadline for applications to register to vote: midnight on Tuesday 20 September. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

Deadline for applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes: 5pm on Wednesday 21 September.

Deadline for applications, amendments or cancellations to vote by proxy: 5pm on Wednesday 28 September.
