Coronavirus: Shropshire businesses invited to free reopening webinars
Businesses in Shropshire are invited to join Shropshire Council and industry experts at a series of free webinars to gain practical advice and guidance about reopening, as the third Lockdown restrictions are eased from Monday 12 April 2021 under Step 2 of the Government’s roadmap.
Non-essential retail and personal care premises such as hairdressers and nail salons will be allowed to reopen. Most outdoor attractions and settings including outdoor hospitality venues will also be able to reopen, as will self-contained accommodation like campsites and holiday lets – for individual household/support bubble stays in England.
To help businesses in the county prepare, Shropshire Council is running a series of webinars.
Reopening hospitality – Tuesday 13 April – 3pm
Businesses in Shropshire’s hospitality sector can get practical advice and guidance to help them reopen safely when Lockdown restrictions are relaxed, by attending this webinar.
Find out more about how outdoor services can be safely reopened and what you need to and can do to reopen indoor services from Monday 17 May when Step 3 of the Government’s roadmap is scheduled to start.
Expert panellists including James Hitchin (Shrewsbury BID, Bombos and The Alb), Alexis Hill (Shrewsbury BID and The Loopy Shrew), Neil Clayton (West Mercia Police), Jessica Moores (Shropshire Council licensing officer) and Tim Clode (Shropshire Council environmental health officer) will be on hand to walk you through the guidance and advice.
