Vibrant webinars will help businesses adapt to new way of working
A series of webinars will take place in the new year in a bid to help Shropshire businesses embrace the new digital way of working.
The Marches Growth Hub Shropshire will hold the four week long series with Emma Alston on Better Digital Meetings.
Emma, a vibrant and energetic host, will help you embrace new ways of interacting in digital meetings and help you make the best impression possible.
Emma Chapman, Marches Growth Hub Manager, said:
“This programme of four one-hour workshops will help you identify and solve the combined challenges we are all facing in light of the new way of working.
“With most meetings now taking place through a computer, it is vital that we all know how to make the best impression possible, while getting the results you need.”
The webinars will cover everything you need to know to create ‘Better Digital Meetings’, whether you are finding your way or using these tools every day.
These sessions will help you overcome any self-consciousness or apprehension you may feel regarding live video communication, equipping you with the skills to ensure your digital meetings run more effectively.
The first webinar will be held on Monday 11 January 2021 at 11am and will be on the subject of Preparation for Better Digital Meetings. The second will focus on the challenges of presenting and will be held at 11am on Monday 18 January 2021.
The following week will look at timings and resilience and will be held at 11am on Monday 25 January, while the series will end on Monday 1 February at 11am with Speak Up and Be Heard.
Emma Alston said:
“I should point out that if you want to attend a normal webinar with your camera turned off sitting in a static place taking tedious notes, these workshops may not be what you are looking for.
“I like to get everyone moving and energised (nothing too strenuous), focusing on injecting vitality, energy and humour into all my sessions. I often advise my clients that wearing loose clothing will feel more comfortable for them.
“I would also like to mention that although it is not obligatory, having our cameras turned on throughout the sessions will sustain the sense of connectivity, ensuring a positive shared experience for all.”
