Santa Symphony – calling all players of an orchestral instrument from Grade 3+

Shropshire Council’s Shropshire Music Service is searching for players of an orchestral instrument from Grade 3+ to Grade 8 and beyond to play in a spectacular Christmas orchestra – Santa Symphony.

An all-day workshop, to follow the legendary Pops Orchestra format, will begin at 10am on Sunday 8 December 2019 at Meole Brace Secondary School in Shrewsbury, giving adults and children the chance to practice all sorts of Christmas music before the concert starts at 3pm.

The day promises to be fun-filled, enabling everyone to get involved with a high-quality orchestra, meet old friends and make new ones.
