Appeal for players for Pops Orchestra rehearsals, leading up to 29 March 2020 concertconcert.

Shropshire Council’s Shropshire Music Service is searching for players of all orchestral instruments from Grade 5 upwards to play in the legendary Pops Orchestra concert on Sunday 29 March 2020.

Rehearsals take place on Sundays from early in 2020 – 12 January,  9 February,  1 March – at SMS Centre, Longmeadow, Bayston Hill, SY30NU, with final rehearsal and concert on 29 March from 9:45am at Meole Brace School (secondary) in Shrewsbury.

Pops is a social as well as musical group reaching up to 100 in number, but is always excited to welcome new players. Please make sure you ring Shropshire Music Service to let us know you are coming, so that we can be certain there is music available on the day.
