Get a free caricature in Shrewsbury this Saturday
Visitors to Shrewsbury this Saturday (4 May) will have the chance to receive a free caricature from local artist Chris Ryder from Witty Pics.
From 11am to 1pm in the Pride Hill Shopping Centre, and from 1pm to 3pm in the Darwin Shopping Centre, people will be able to pose for their own persinal cartoon likeness, completely free of charge.
It’s to celebrate the Shrewsbury Cartoon Festival and National Cartoonists Day.
Kevin Lockwood, Shrewsbury shopping centres manager, said:
“This is the ideal opportunity to receive a unique piece of art for the wall, or a memento of a day out with friends or family.”
Caricatures will be offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so people are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
