Superheroes to swoop into Shrewsbury shopping centres for free Easter fun
Ironman and Spider-Man will be swooping in to Shrewsbury’s Darwin and Pride Hill Shopping Centres this Easter as part of three days of Superhero-themed family fun to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Marvel: Avengers End Game movie.
From Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 April there will be a range of free activities to keep wannabe superheroes of all ages entertained during the school holidays.
Tuesday 23 April – Superhero training school, and meet Spider-Man
Master all your super-skills through our assault course and enjoy our superhero pants challenge, flying lessons and kryptonite disposal masterclasses.
Spider-Man will be on the lower level of Darwin Centre and the top level of Pride Hill at intervals throughout the day, greeting guests and posing for selfies.
Wednesday 24 April – Make a superhero spoon
Get stuck in with our crafty supplies to create a superhero spoon puppet to take home or jump into our puppet theatre to create your own show!
Thursday 25 April – Create a superhero cape, and meet Iron Man
Get creative, designing your very own cape, complete with personalised superhero motif! Then swoosh your way, fighting crime and saving the day.
Iron Man will be on the lower level of Darwin Centre and the top level of Pride Hill at intervals throughout the day, greeting guests and posing for selfies.
Kevin Lockwood, Shrewsbury shopping centres manager, said:
“We’ll have plenty to keep your wannabe superheroes entertained this Easter, and we’re especially excited about welcoming Iron Man and Spider-Man to the shopping centres. It promises to be a brilliant three days.”
