Welfare Reform – The Big Debate 2

Welfare Reform: The Big Debate 2 will follow on from an initial event which took place in 2013 which explored the welfare system and the phased introduction of changes made over the past few years.

This year’s event will include an update from the previous Big Debate, and will consider the issues experienced so far and imminent changes. Debate discussions will focus on the impact, issues and solutions of themes including Universal Credit, disability benefits, food banks, housing benefit, and council tax benefit.  Attendees are encouraged to bring along any evidence and information they have which could be useful during discussions.  Colleagues from the Cabinet Office will also be in attendance at the event and are keen to hear your thoughts.
