Telford water system restored to normal

Telford’s water system has been restored to normal.

Shropshire Council had been working with Severn Trent Water, Telford & Wrekin Council and the emergency services to ensure that residents had access to water following problems with the supply to many homes within the Telford and Shropshire area.

The outage was caused by a major water pipe bursting in the early hours of Sunday  morning (24 September 2017).
