The next meeting of the Broseley and Barrow Local Joint Committee (LJC) will be held on Wednesday 18 January 2016 at Broseley Methodist Church Hall, Duke Street, Broseley, from 7pm to 9pm.

Members of the public are invited to come and meet with local councillors and raise issues of concern relating to the local area.

On the agenda this time is a presentation from Shropshire Council’s highways officers who will explain about work taking place in the local area.

There will be also be an update on the transfer of management of the Birchmeadow Park.

Representatives from the local policing team will also be present to provide updates on their service.

Councillor Jean Jones, who chairs the meeting, said:-

“This is a really important community meeting and everyone’s invited to come along and raise issues directly with their councillors. We will try to answer as many questions as we can on the night but can also seek out answers from officers at a later date, if appropriate. This is your opportunity to speak to your local councillors direct about the issues that concern you. Why not come along and take part if you have issues that you want to raise and have your say.”
