Shropshire Council invites you to join the ranger service on a 7-mile guided walk exploring Broseley and the Ironbridge Gorge, on either Thursday 19 January 2017 or Monday 23 January 2017.  Walkers assemble at 9.15am for a 9.30am start, and walks last until 4pm.

Starting at Birchmeadow (a wonderful park located in the heart of Broseley).  This walk explores the Ironbridge Gorge by following disused railway tracks. Much of the area is now a Site of Special Scientific Interest as its industrial past has been reclaimed by nature leaving a beautiful wooded landscape. There will be time to see the town of Ironbridge on this walk.

This walk starts and ends at Birchmeadow car park (not Severn Valley Country Park) Please meet at Birchmeadow car park, Brosley (TF12 5LP) for free parking.

Booking is essential – only 4 places are left on both days. Adults £3.50, children £2. Please bring exact change for walk fees.
