Essential resurfacing work on the A4117 Bridgnorth Junction to Weston Farm from 30 January
Essential resurfacing work is to begin on Monday 30 January 2017 on the A4117 Bridgnorth Junction to Weston Farm. The work will take six weeks.
To minimise disruption the work will be carried out at night between 8pm and 6am under full closure, and a diversion route will be in place. If required, traffic lights will be used between 6am to 8pm.
Access to properties and businesses will be maintained throughout the work.
Simon Jones, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for highways and transport, said:
“These roadworks are essential in refurbishing the road so that it continues to meet the needs of the community and through traffic long into the future. As such we ask for your patience and support while the work is carried out and offer our apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused.”
Information about the work – including a map and diversion route – can be found on a dedicated webpage at shropshire.gov.uk/roadworks. Updates will be added to this page throughout the work to keep people informed of progress.
